The ITRE is a firm believer in the necessity for professionals to not only achieve
a degree of excellence in their profession but for them to also to continue to
develop their excellence in our profession.
In order to create a benchmark by which members can be measured we believe in
the use of a Common academic framework and help our members to reach targets set
by CAF
Firstly we ask members who wish to participate to do a self audit of skills
which they believe they have and those which they believe they wish to develop.
These are not for anyone else to see but themselves so cheating is
senseless.
Not all of our members
come from Universities, the Telecom Industry is made up of many top executives
have gained their skills from the University of life and within the workplace.
This CAF is particularly useful for them to be able to guage themselves
against those with a more formal academic background. Skills may have been
obtained from a variety of sources. For example:
Hobbies
Social Activities
Voluntary work
Work experiences
Life experiences
Examples of questions are:-
The questions CAF
are
designed to formulate any objectives and
consideration needs to be given as to how they might be achieved, i.e. what
actual actions need to be taken in order to ensure success. We then help
our members achieve their goals
